Welcome to my daily photoblog. This website is a photographic diary of my life and I hope you enjoy your time here exploring my photography. As a freelance photographer based in Toronto Canada, I have been obsessed with the medium of photography since the age of sixteen.
It began as a passing interest when I signed up for a photography class in high school, never really expecting anything to come from it. This was back in 1995 when everyone still used film cameras to produce their work, so you generally had no idea how your pictures turned out until you got them back from the photo lab or what you can see when working in the dark room. The more I studied (and often failing) how to measure light, and experiment with compositions, the more joy I discovered in creating art.
My objective with photography is to utilize it to express my artistic nature. Restricting myself to shoot a single type of photography I feel is a mistake, experimenting with many themes just to keep things fresh. In many respects photography is more than just a way to capture moments, it is an expression of creativity. Always keep these three activities in mind if you get stuck in a creative rut…patience, practice, persistence.
